Last night I was playing Battlefield 3 on the PlayStation network and I experienced terrible frame rate up to the point I was disconnected from the server. Thinking it was the particular server I was on (kharg/caspian/firestorm), I switched to another but had the same results. I then moved to a different server and had the same issues.
I waited awhile, logged back in and tried again. The game played well for 10 minutes or so and the issues started again. At that point, I just gave up.
One thing I did notice was that it seemed to affect all server in Battlefield, because when I browsed all servers, I noticed most have few if any players. Searching for answers, I came up empty except for 1 Yahoo answers page that suggested it may have to do with wireless headphones and VOIP. I doubt it because that my gripe with most players on Battlefield …. they don’t use them.
If you know what caused the servers to have problems all night on Friday, please respond below and let everyone know.
This just came in on Google Plus – Apparently, its happening across all platforms. D. Hamilton reports that he was playing on PS3 and it was messing up so he switched to PC and had the same lag issues there. So, its across all platforms.
